I really loved shooting Brooke and Josh's engagement session almost three years ago with their two dogs. This December to finally meet their son was an absolute joy. What a doll! Their whole family just exudes happiness and an easy sense of contentment. Brooke and her brother, Duke, both have beautiful partners and are such loving parents. My guess is, a learned skill from their own kind and gentle parents, now proud beaming grandparents.

On an unusually warm December afternoon, I was lucky to meet a beautiful family, some traveling as far as from Denver to celebrate the season & time together. There was a surrounding love that afternoon and a quiet celebration of a fifty year marriage. It was a wonderfully simple reminder of the stages that our lives embrace, from braces-to-college, the paths we are all blessed to travel & share with one another. I was glad to have met them all.
